Nutrition Seminar January 22nd

Posted: Jan 19, 2012

"As you all know, nutrition is one of the most important factors in triathlon training and racing! Bad choices can lead to injury and weight gain during training and poor choices on race day can ruin your performance. Luckily we have a great resource right here on T3. Joanna Chodorowska, one of our generous sponsors and teammates is a certified sports nutritionist. She has a tremendous knowledge regarding improving our diets to become better athletes."

http://www.nutrition-in-motion.net/joanna.html

She will be offering up a free nutrition seminar for members. Non members are also welcome for a small fee.

The seminar will be held at the home of Sarah Aloise in Mt. Airy, 600 West Allen Lane on sunday January 22nd at 3 pm.

The Topic:

"The quick n dirty of sports nutrition.  What you don't know may hurt you when training and racing.  Come with your questions - there is no such thing as a stupid question.  Sport nutrition does not need to be rocket science, so I will try to make it easy and send you home with some easy to implement ideas so your upcoming season is the best one yet.

T3 Members - free

non-members - $10

No need to RSVP! I hope to see you all there.

Poconos 70.3 Preview

Posted: Aug 29, 2011
Hello all. Based on the feedback from the team it sounds like Saturday sept 3rd works best for people to preview the Poconos 70.3 course. So far we have about 7 people going if everyone comes. Anyone is welcome even if you are not racing but just want to do a nice 56 mile ride:) we are hoping to leave around 6:30 am to get up there by 8ish. Once we know who all is going we can arrange carpooling if that is helpful. Once we have a head count I will limit any further emails to those who have responded yes. You can either email back myself or Amelia. Have a great week. The weather looks great.
